Thompson Takes Texas

Law & Order Star Our Next President???!!!

Senator, actor-lawyer, and from one of my favorite television shows was in our fair city this week for his campaign to raise money and of course to get a few gabs in at the Democrats! Imagine that! Thompson is trying to raise $500,000 in two days here in Texas.

Thompson talked down Democratic tax plans after a visit to Dell, Inc. Thompson is for streamlining the tax code and getting rid of the Internal Revenue Service. He believes the Democrats and their ideas are "going to devastate our economy."

Dell invited Thompson to speak about manufacturing, tax policies, and businesses being able to stay where they want. Thompson feels people know him from his Law & Order fame. Which could be a positive or a negative.

He addressed the importance of the United States taking control of its borders. A popular topic during this presidential election.

I think you either really like Fred Thompson or despise him. Since he has come into the race a little late, this article might show you a shade of his personality and his ideas if he becomes our next president.
